Running of the Salmon - A Brindlewood Bay Mystery

It is April and the Running of the Salmon, the most popular festival of the year, is currently taking place in Brindlewood Bay. Every year the entire town shows up to watch the smolt finish their journey into the sea, wherein they will fully develop into salmon. Over three days the attendees browse the stalls, play fair games and, most importantly, watch the titular Running of the Salmon. On the final day of the festival multiple brave contestants race each other, alongside the soon-to-be-salmon, with the first to reach the ocean being crowned the winner. This year it is a bigger event than usual as Brennan Donner, eight-time winner, is on course to match the all time record by being the second to reach nine victories. It is also the first time that the event will be televised, as the rights to broadcast it have been sold to a news channel at the start of the year.

However during the race Brennan Donner is found dead, and it is up to the Mavens to figure out who has committed this murder.

Running of the Salmon is a mystery designed to be used with Brindlewood Bay.

It is not associated with Jason Cordova or The Gauntlet.
